Afridi launches Mega Stars League for ex-cricketers, artists, journalists

The former Pakistani cricketer, Shahid Afridi has announced the Mega Stars League (MSL), the purpose of which is to feature the ex-cricketers, artists, and journalists. The grand ceremony was attended by the cricket greats Mushtaq Ahmed, Inzamam ul Haq, Wasim Akram, Abdul Razzaq, and others.

Afridi believes MSL will be the biggest-ever celebrity league, also providing an opportunity for the retired cricketers, to get back to the ground once again. Taking it to his Twitter, the all-rounder revealed,

“I, Mushtaq Bhai, Wiki Bhai and Inzi Bhai, we are old now. MSL is a good opportunity for us to return to the ground,”

According to Afridi, the purpose of the league is not to only endorsed cricket, but will act as a mainstream for entertainment, he wrote,

“Proud to endorse the biggest and first of its kind league across the globe. Mega Star League is here to not only provide cricketainment to the people of Pakistan but also help and support our ex-cricketers, sports journalist and artist’s community,”
