The news rotates on social platforms popping up the trend as Ali Khan Tareen is no longer an owner of the Multan Sultans. As the ownership consortium comes to an end, people look for the actual reason for the broken partnership.
Notably, Alamgir Tareen and Ali held the proprietorship dealing of the green-blue franchise since 2018 as the franchise was first launched. As of now, Alamgir remains the only holder.
The reason is not posted anywhere on social forums but we can see that the players who were totally owned by Ali Khan Tareen are not in the squad in the PSL 6.
Multan Sultans Squad for PSL 2021:
Platinum: Shahid Afridi, Rilee Rossouw, Chris Lynn
Diamond: Sohail Tanvir, Imran Tahir, Khushdil Shah
Gold: Shan Masood, James Vince, Usman Qadir
Silver: Sohail Khan, Mohammad Rizwan, Sohaib Maqsood, Shoaibullah, Adam Lyth
Supplementary: Imran Khan Sr, Carlos Braithwaite
Emerging: Shahnawaz Dhani, Mohammad Umar
From this squad, Zeeshan Ashraf, Ali Shafiq, Mohammad Ilyas, Saif Badar, and a few more, who were present last season and performed well, are not parts of the PSL 2021 squads for MS.
It seems like that there is any sort of inside controversy going on between Alamgir and Ali for the reason of which, the ownership of Ali no more exists.
Here is why Ali Khan Tareen is no more an owner of Multan Sultans
BREAKING NEWS: The Multan Sultans ownership consortium has been broken. Alamgir Tareen has taken over complete ownership of the franchise, with Ali Tareen no longer with the franchise in any capacity
