Amir opens up on his exclusion from PSL 7

Karachi Kings are dealing with consecutive blows in the going on Pakistan Super League (PSL 7). As losing all three encounters clashed yet was not enough, Kings lost Mohammad Amir and Mohammad Ilyas following their journeys.

Amir, who missed out the first three matches, was expected to return in the Kings’ third match versus Peshawar Zalmi, however, as the KK vs PZ is underway momentarily, he has been excluded from the remainder of the PSL 7. The saddening news popped up on Friday morning shocking and saddening the Amir fans.

Amir has made a comment on his exclusion from PSL 7. He took the matter to his social media and said everything happens for a reason alongside wishing good luck to his team.

gutted to miss @thePSLt20 season 7 but everything happens for the reason but my prayers and best wishes with Karachi Kings.

Notably, the pacer suffered a hamstring injury that is keeping him away from the PSL 7 matches. He has not been able to bowl well after he announced his sudden retirement from international cricket in 2020.

The player only plucked five scalps from 11 games during PSL 6. He has been struggling with home wickets averaging just 36 since 2020.

It must be noted that reputed Pakistani sources mentioned Amir’s participation with great enthusiasm at the High-performance Center declaring him fit to grip the ball in the hand. Karachi Kings later themselves announced his return which was a relief for them but, they have once again fallen into despair.
