Aus vs NZ T20 WC Final seek history

The big day has finally arrived as the final showdown of the the ICC T20 World Cup 2021 is set to kick-start in a few hours seeking Australia vs New Zealand at the Dubai International Stadium.

Both; the Kane Williamson-led team, and Aaron Finch’s men will be battling to grasp their maiden T20 World Cup title. Australia, however, will undergo their second final of the event, whereas, it is the first majestic fate for the Black Caps.

The Kiwis, despite being in the T20 World Cup final for the first time, have an exceptional record in the recent ICC events. Three years, and three ICC finals – at first, they rivaled England in the ODI World Cup 2019, and then defeated India in the ICC World Test Championship. Now, they anticipate to clucth their second ICC, maiden T20 World Cup title.

Williamson’s team’s journey has been outstanding as they have marked the hat-trick for the ICC finals. Seeking their defeat in WC 2019 vs England, they revenged Eoin Morgan and chaps this World Cup in the semifinal becoming the first finalist of the event.

Gary Stead, the head coach of the Black Caps, is excited for their history-making appearance.

“That’s probably a final that I’m not sure too many people would have predicted a month or so ago, Australia and New Zealand,” said Stead.

It is pertinent to mention that the Kiwis are suffering a huge setback as Devon Conway was ruled out of the remainder of NZ’s campaign following his broken hand.
