Australia cricket team visited Pakistan in early 2022 for the first time in 24 years. The historic tour paved way for international cricket fully to Pakistan. Apparently, the Australian cricketers enjoyed their visit to the cricket-loving nation and were delighted by the president style security and hospitality.
One of the greatest batters of modern era cricket, David Warner has re-lived the moments from the historic Australia tour of Pakistan. Discussing the most-lived things, he stated that hospitality was ‘second to none’. Moreover, Warner enjoyed the barbecue parties and says he never had that much BBQ ever.
While talking to Fox Sports Programme, the cricketer commented,
“The hospitality was second to none and I’ve never had so much barbecued meat in my life. It was superb,”
Furthermore, the cricketer said he and his mates were scared at first inspired by the fake folks against Pakistan, but in the end, the historic tour turned out to be great. Warner is glad to be the series part.
“It was a series that needed to be and I was glad I was a part of it. We were a little worried and scared but we had a lot of confidence in the communications between Cricket Australia, the High Commission over there, and the Pakistan Government. It was just a great series to be a part of,”
It must be noted Pak vs Aus 2022 series witnessed a three-match test series, as many ODIs, and the one-off T20I. The guests won the Test series by 1-0 as the two tests were drawn. As far as ODIs are concerned, Pakistan won by 2-0 whereas, the hosts failed to manage the one-off T20I.
