Sohaib Maqsood may have scored lesser runs than Azam and Rizwan but he strikes more than the top two batsmen of the PSL 6 with the most runs. Maqsood has gathered 428 in 12 innings striking 156.77 at an SR of 47.55. Registering his top score as 65*, he has given multiple breathtaking performances to watch for.

Consequently, he has got an international call from the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) ahead of the England and West Indies tours. Notably, he has been picked as an alternative to Haider Ali who has been removed from the squad following bio-bubble breaches during the league.
