Shahnawaz Dahani, a pure class from Multan Sultans, has shut his critics with his mind-blowing performances in the HBL PSL 6. Earlier, people questioned his selection in the national squad on behalf of a few matches but the Larkana-born bowler has proved his worth with the performances he exerted making him the best bowler of the HBL PSL 6.

He got his maiden international call versus Zimbabwe this March and has been retained in the squad for the West Indies tour. Just to clear, PSL 6 ain’t the only forum he has proved his worth in but has grasped a pile of wickets in the domestic cricket as well.

Emerging from the land of pacers, he made his domestic debut in the Quaid e Azam trophy 2019-20 for Sindh. Not only representing the specific team in first-class cricket, but he has been an enormous part of List-A cricket too marking his first appearance in Pakistan Cup recent release.

Shahnawaz Dahani:

Shahnawaz Dahani, as mentioned above, has stayed the best bowler of the PSL 6. His rocking performances were indeed shocking for the watchers to eye upon him for Pakistan cricket’s fate. The Sultan’s bowler grasped 20 wickets being the top wicket-taker of the tournament conceding 273 runs at an economy of 8.19. Averaging 13.65, Dahani has taken part in 9 innings for the Rizwan-led team.

Best PSL bowling figure, 4/5:

The best spell in PSL history now belongs to Dahani. He amazingly pulled out 4 Qalandars’ batters conceding 5 runs making his BBI T20 stats at an economy of 1.57. It certainly is the best PSL bowling figure. Here is the video:

Shaheen Afridi:

Shaheen Shah Afridi, an aggressive Qalandars bowler, has remained the second-best bowler of the PSL 6. Donning QG’e jersey in all 10 matches, Shaheen grabbed 16 wickets yielding 292 runs at an economy of 7.30. Averaging 18.25, the fast bowler has given multiple memorable moments to the fans to watch for. 3/14 remains his best of the season as he plucked out Zalmi’s Imam ul Haq, Ravi Bopara, and Sherfane Rutherford. Wahab Riaz:

The Zalmi skipper, featuring in nine of ten matches, conceded 306 runs picking 14 wickets. Wahab is the third-best bowler of the HBL PSL 6 ranking after Dahani and Shaheen. He has assembled an economy of 8.74 averaging 21.85 with the best of 4/17. The paceman struck versus Islamabad United in Karachi leg at an economy of 4.2 picking the wickets of Paul Stirling, Iftikhar Ahmed, Asif Ali, and Hasan Ali. Here is the reminder video:
