Central Punjab's defeat was obvious, what changed game?

The National T20 Cup 2021, being in its first leg, is progressing with full bangs at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. On Day 2 of the most celebrated domestic contest, the lookouts witnessed Southern Punjab vs Sindh and Central Punjab vs Balochistan respectively.

Central Punjab and Balochistan, led by Babar Azam and Imam ul Haq respectively, strived to accomplish their first victory of the season. With both proceeding in their second games of the ongoing NT20, lost their opening encounters of the contest.

Stepping in the field with high hopes of winning this one, Balochistan, once again had to deal with a big blow. On the other hand, Central Punjab, who were looking least favourites to win tonight, some how managed it by the end.

But what turned tables for two of the teams? With high probabilities for Balochistan to accomplish this one, Junaid Khan’s pitiful last over granted two sixes and a boundary to Babar and chaps. Undeniably, it turned out as a turning point for Central Punjab.

Although Babar’s bowlers bowled well picking 7 of Balochistans’ batters restricting them to 142. But, Imam’s bowlers, in reply as well made things go hard on Babar and chaps. They accumulated 8 wickets with Akif Javed, Junaid, Kashif Bhatti, and Yasir Shah picking 2, 3, 2, and 1 each.

Now, the fifth rivalry will take place between Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Southern Punjab at 3:00 PM PST whereas, the second match of the doubleheader will kick start at 7:30 PM between Sindh and Northern.
