“We need to put this behind us. Back the captain, back each other together and we’ll come back fresh next game. We can’t get worse than this we can only get better, still nine games to go, and we can win nine out of nine. It doesn’t matter if we qualify or don’t qualify, it doesn’t matter so much for us at this stage,” Ganguly said in a video shared by Delhi Capitals.

Defeats don’t define Delhi Capitals

Ganguly believes that Delhi Capitals are a much better side than what is happening on the field at the moment, and it only takes one game to turn things around. He emphasized the importance of sticking with David Warner, who is the captain and the most critical person in the team.

After the match against Royal Challengers Bangalore, Ricky Ponting, the head coach of Delhi Capitals, praised Kuldeep Yadav for his excellent bowling performance. The left-arm spinner had apologized to Ponting for his poor performance against Mumbai Indians and promised to bounce back stronger.

Ponting commended Kuldeep for his outstanding spell of bowling, where he took 2/23 off four overs, and encouraged him never to apologize for what happens on the cricket field. Instead, Ponting asked Kuldeep to bounce back stronger.

Despite suffering consecutive defeats, the Delhi Capitals’ management is optimistic that the team can bounce back and qualify for the playoffs. They urged the team to play for their pride, back their captain, and strive for improvement. Ricky Ponting encouraged Kuldeep Yadav to bounce back stronger and never apologize for his performance on the cricket field.
