Fawad Chaudhry talks about PMLN sacking Ramiz Raja as PCB chairman

Since the PMLN’s Shehbaz Shareef has taken over PTI’s Imran Khan as the Prime Minister of Pakistan, a major shift in Pakistan Cricket is expected as well as with the politics. According to reliable reports, Najam Sethi is likely to succeed the current chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Ramiz Raja, with the new government.

The Pakistani government, which acts as PCB patron in chief, appointed Ramiz as the chairperson after Ehsan Mani’s regime ended last year. Things started settling with multiple initiatives presented, but there is no guarantee that those plans will now be executed under the new chairperson.

Najam, a close friend of the country’s current PM, has earlier served as the chairman, and will again be back in action with the courtesy of PMLN. The former PM, Imran opened up by saying Ramiz is his player and will fight till the last ball for his position, however, due to dismissed power, Ramiz’s post seems to sink.

Hearing the reports of his resignation, Ramiz himself took notice and respond by saying he will not resign until he gets the order to do so. Following the plot, Fawad Chaudhry, who is the former Minister of Information and Broadcasting of Pakistan, says the dismissal of Raja will be a huge disservice to Pakistan Cricket.

Penning out a status on his Twitter, he added,

PMLn has yet again proved they’ll never change, the same tactics sacking @iramizraja will be a huge disservice to Pak cricket he is not PTI he is top of a line cricket technocrat, they’ll use PCB to accommodate their cronies #امپورٹڈ_حکومت_نامنظور
