Fixing smells from Ind vs Afg match

Cricket fans from across the globe are suspecting recently coiled up Ind vs Afg match as a fixed game. Twitter and other social forum trends as they feel Afghans deliberately threw away the game to the Indians.

Notably, there was no logical possibility for India to qualify for the ICC T20 World Cup 2021 semifinal after losing with heavy margins against Pakistan and New Zealand sequentially. But, sealing a 66-run victory vs Afghanistan has pretty much polished their chances to be in the semifinal. With the next two games scheduled against Scotland and Namibia, cricket fans say impossible has been made possible.

Afghanistan, on winning the toss, opted to bowl first and conceded the event’s highest target of 211 runs. Mohammad Nabi’s bowlers looked faulty to many as Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul, Hardik Pandya, and Rishabh Pant rained off sixes and fours all across the ground.

A user Tweeted a video in which the fielder was consciously seen throwing the ball away towards the boundary rather than stopping it. It is the first point where cricket fans have suspected a foul play.

Was Ind vs Afg fixed?

Not only the common fellows, but the journalists have come forward with a similar synopsis. People believe, to save their IPL contracts, Afghans did not have any option, but to accept cash and lose the match.
