Former Indian cricketer Amit Mishra who could not make his name much in international cricket has trolled everyone’s favourite Pakistani batter, Babar Azam.
Relating to the context, the Pakistani skipper showed his support to former Indian captain Virat Kohli, who had been struggling to regain his form. Babar wrote that this too shall pass since every athlete comes across such downfall, and wished him good luck.
Kohli, however, has got his lost form back, while Babar seems to be struggling. He failed throughout the Asia Cup 2022 and is yet to score in the ongoing ICC T20 World Cup 2022. Where he is getting support from all across the world, even from the neighbouring nation India, a portion of lesser-known people has joined forced to troll Azam, who has been leading batting records lately.
Using the same tweet Babar posted for Kohli, Amit trolled Azam after the right-handed batter failed against underdogs Netherlands. He could only score four from five deliveries and once again became subject to post-match debates.
As soon as the social media started flooding with relevant posts, Mishra’s tweet arrived too, however, he dropped himself in hot water as soon he penned out since not only Pakistanis but people from his own country started bashing him to the next level.
Here is how people from India are reacting to Mishra’s cryptic tweet, which sounds like it is to show sympathy, but deep down, is to take a jibe at Azam:
The genuine "this too shall pass" comment from Babar Azam, who has treated Virat Kohli with nothing but reverence, is being used by Indian cricket fans to troll him.
Lowest of the low, as always. Very Pathetic

Babar tweeted with good intension and with all respect.
Your tweet is kind of trolling. If not you would have expressed in different way.
You can also be a Tiger, not only be a lion. Because both are of same family species.
Your tweet not accepted #INDvsSA

Shame that a player like you represented India at international level. One should never stoop this low.

Funny how you make a genuine message that carried concern for his fellow counterpart a troll against the player of that stature. Babar is still a world class player and that is that..

Tweet from Babar was only to encourage and support VK, it was not a mocking at all, he also clearified everything in an interview by saying that, "this time could be on anyone but VK is a world class player, he know how to come out of these situations"!! Such a shameful act..
