PSL 6: Along with the category renewal process and pick order finalized, the window for player retention has also been opened officially. The owners of the six franchises were supposed to vote for the players. Notably, the franchises could not vote for their own players and the voting requests were to be submitted for the reviewing process at the end of this stage.
The final list was reviewed by GM commercial Imran Ahmed Khan and Director High-Performance Center, Nadeem Khan. While finalizing the players, international performances, domestic performances, and T20 brand values were taken into consideration.
It is to be mentioned that the category renewal has not been applied to those players who were drafted in the HBL PSL playoffs 2020. Such players are going to be part of the entire player pool that will be available for the player draft for selection.
