After delivering splendid overs in CPL 2022 for Jamaica, Imad is getting all the support of the fans. They believe the all-rounder deserves a place in the national squad in place of most of the current players, occupying the spots unjustly. He was kept out of consideration while finalizing Asia Cup 2022 squad, and neither has been considered for ongoing Pakistan vs England series, tri-series, and the World Cup 2022, respectively.
Imad has ended his CPL 2022 stint as the most economical bowler. He is gathering praises for excellent performances alongside his counterpart Mohammad Amir, who has ended as the fourth-highest wicket-taker of the tournament. If Shan Masood is in the team because of performance in League matches, there's no reason for not including Amir and Imad Wasim.
In CPL, Amir got the award for best bowler of the tournament and Imad best all-rounder.
