Fans lash out at PCB for Imad Wasim's impressive performances in CPL

Imad Wasim’s absence from the national fold has been creating havoc among fans, but the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) looks in no mood to consider him for future plans. In the recently winded up Caribbean Premier League (CPL 2022) the all-rounder ended up with the second-most number of wickets. And, the fans have every right to lash out at the board for ignoring the player despite performing.

The Karachi Kings’ skipper has been incredible with the new ball and bowls economically in the initial overs. Imad, who has amassed 17 wickets from 13 games at an economy of 5.97, is just behind St Lucia Kings’ Alzari Joseph, who has gathered 18 scalps from 11 games. Jamaica Tallawahs’ leading wicket-taker took it to Twitter and shared,

After delivering splendid overs in CPL 2022 for Jamaica, Imad is getting all the support of the fans. They believe the all-rounder deserves a place in the national squad in place of most of the current players, occupying the spots unjustly. He was kept out of consideration while finalizing Asia Cup 2022 squad, and neither has been considered for ongoing Pakistan vs England series, tri-series, and the World Cup 2022, respectively.

Imad has ended his CPL 2022 stint as the most economical bowler. He is gathering praises for excellent performances alongside his counterpart Mohammad Amir, who has ended as the fourth-highest wicket-taker of the tournament. Both have played crucial roles in lifting Jamaica’s trophy with their notable appealing performances throughout the contest.
