Imam ul Haq responds to criticism despite brilliant record

Imam ul Haq, who is often called ‘Parchi’, and is not appreciated for his great performances, has opened up on the criticism he gets for no reason. Talking to the media in the press, the left-handed batter said every player receives criticism but all Pakistanis are brothers to him no matter how much he is slammed.

The player is assured of his hard work and visible appealing performances and does not mind the blame game on him. He uttered he respects everyone, and their opinion – and continued saying he will work even better to stay in form.

“Every Pakistani is my brother,” the opener said. “I have respect for everyone regardless of all the criticism. I will try my best to keep performing for my team,”

It must be noted that Imam has been outstanding in the three-match ODI series versus Australia that concluded recently. He topped the run charts with 298 runs at an average of 149. The number of runs also broke the former record of England’s Graham Gooch, who was the feat-holder for scoring the most runs versus Australia in an ODI series back in 1985.

The batter smashed a century in the first ODI that went in vain following Adam Zampa’s heroics in the second inning. Pakistan lost the first ODI by 88 runs, however, won the next two games with hefty margins to win the series by 2-1. The player hold the momentum and slammed 106 runs from 97 balls in the next game. In the final ODI, he remained not out on 89.

Unluckily, it was hard to choose the man of the match, and man of the series between Imam and Babar. However, both awards went to Azam for his notable heroics.
