Pakistan’s prime minister, Imran Khan, and the Cricket Board’s (PCB) chairman, Ehsan Mani, are programmed to meet and greet on Monday to discuss Mani’s fate.
Notably, the PCB is hunting for a new chairperson to fulfill the gaps as Mani’s tenure is at its termination. Reportedly, Ramiz Raja will take over the post to continue his services in the national fold.
It has been reported that Imran has denied Mani’s extension as a chairman. The duo is yet to meet on 23rd August; hence, time will confirm the latter things.
The former president of the International Cricket Council (ICC) was appointed as PCB’s chairman in 2018. His 3-year regime ends on 4th September as the PCB looks for a new candidate.

Alongside Ramiz, the reports also hinting at the former player, Jawad Sajid, to occupy the post. PM will submit the expected candidates to BOG, and the final results will be on-screened in a shorter course out of higher votes.
