Indian cricketers gets robbed in England

Indian woman cricketer Taniya Bhatia has been accused of being robbed in London while she was on tour with the national team for a three-match ODI series. She took it to Twitter to reveal how unsafe it has been, even on an unofficial tour.

She mentioned somebody walked into her private room in the Marriott hotel and stole her valuables. Her tweet reads,

Shocked and disappointed at Marriot Hotel London Maida Vale management, someone walked into my personal room and stole my bag with cash, cards, watches and jewellery during my recent stay as a part of the Indian Women’s Cricket team. @MarriottBonvoy@Marriott. So unsafe.

She further mentioned that she is looking for quick investigation while wondering at the poor security.

Hoping for a quick investigation and resolution of this matter. Such lack of security at @ECB_cricket‘s preferred hotel partner is astounding. Hope they will take cognisance as well. @Marriott@BCCIWomen@BCCI

Since two days has been passed, and Taniya has not heard anything from the authorities, she once again took it to social media and mentioned it has been disappointing to see no response.

I still haven’t recd any response from the hotel management, @Marriott. This is quite disappointing. The items that were stolen from my room were both valuable and important to me. Has any action been taken since the theft? An update would be much appreciated.
