During the fifth T20I match between India and South Africa that took place in Bengaluru’s M Chinnaswamy Stadium, a heartbreaking incident for the fans was caught on the screen. Indian cricketer Raturaj Gaikwad was seen disrespecting a groundsman which shattered a lot of hearts.
In the viral video, Gaikwad pushed aside the man with his hands after he came close to trying to click a selfie in the dugout. The incident happened when the player was waiting for the rain to cease. For his act done, he is now under heavy criticism and the fans feel everyone has the right to fair treatment.
His ill-treatment of the staff aside, but his performance throughout the series has not been appealing. Apart from 57 in the 3rd T20I, he was seen struggling with the bat and could amass 96 runs from five games averaging 19.20.
