The Indian Premier League (IPL 2021) final is likely to be backdated amidst the busy-packed cricketing schedule of the Indian Cricket Team. Originally, the final of the world’s cash-rich is likely to begin on 15th October – a few days before the world’s event, and the T20 World Cup 2021 will be underway.

Moreover, the BCCI is looking to add two new teams for IPL 2022, and the auction process is already underway. It is now a matter of debate for the stakeholders and for adding the players on either side. The treasurer of the BCCI added,

“We are looking to have two franchises in next year’s IPL, but we will have to see the market and also assess the situation prevailing in the country. We can’t guarantee a timeline because there are a lot of things we have to consider,”
