The COVID situation in many countries is worsening day by day. India ranks top in the list of such countries having surplus serious COVID patients reported every day.
22nd April Day marks the worst health day in India as the country has created an unwanted record of having most Coronavirus patients reported in a single day. The number exceeded 3 lakhs new cases with no oxygen available to heal the patient’s breathing issues.
The scenario has worsened to an extent that Central India, especially Delhi has run out of oxygen. The patients suffering from the death-giving virus, need more oxygen.
With the rising number of cases, oxygen is now very limited or even scarce in India. The number of death reported in the last month has crossed a wide margin having 2247 deaths in a single day.
Twitter demands to call off IPL 2021 amidst India running out of oxygen
Despite the poor conditions with the Indian government seem to have no plan, the cricketing season in India is at its peak. The Indian Premier League (IPL 2021), which began on 9th April, is being demanded to call off in a serious situation with country fellows dying.
People find it cruel of the authorities to proceed with IPL at this time when the fellowmen are suffering losing precious lives with every new sunshine.
There is not even a speculated piece of news uttered by any related official to call off IPL 2021. The event goes in a full fledge with no cut-short of matches. Not only this, but six of the venues are hosting in this severe circumstance.
Here are a few of the tweets of the people demanding to put IPL to rest at least for now:
??? The priority of Indian Government should not be IPL or T20 WorldCup anymore instead providing oxygen cylinders to millions of coronavirus affectees!! #IndiaNeedsOxygen
