The Board of Control of Cricket in India (BCCI) has terminated the Indian Premier League (IPL 2021) due to the widespread COVID-19 across the country. In the last month, the cricket-loving nation has reported over a million cases.

Despite the poor health circumstances, the board was dragging the T20 league despite maximum criticism with no plan of giving up in mid. However, Tuesday morning was a shock as IPL enthusiasts and the related bodies wake up with the cancelation news of the event.

The world’s cash richest league is down and dusted with 29 matches with 31 more games to go. As of now, the BCCI hunts for a window to resume the event and does not find any of the best fit than September.
