The trend is the inn on social media platforms as the International Cricket Council (ICC) has eliminated every Pakistani player who has played from January 1, 2011, to October 7, 2020, from the teams of the decade and even from ICC individual awards of the decade.
Dividing different categories among international players, seeing no Pakistani players is frenzied on different platforms and issues have been raised the disappointed Pakistani fans, former cricketers, current players, and interrelated bodies.
They believe that the global cricket council has eliminated Men in Green on purpose choosing many Indians but not even a single from Pakistan. Don’t you think so that many deserving players such as Younis Khan, Shahid Afridi, Saeed Ajmal, Babar Azam, Umar Gul, Mohammad Hafeez, and many others deserve places in the different lists?
Before the names for ICC individual awards of the decade were revealed, people thought that Mohammad Hafeez would be getting the name. Also, seeing Jasprit Bumrah in Men’s ODI team of the decade was shocking to witness.
No Pakistani in individual awards, teams of the decade, Is ICC doing it on purpose?
There is a big question mark for the global council as people are slamming it for days as more fire has been added after seeing no donned green jerseys in ODI, T20I, and Test teams of the decade. Pakistan, the land of the pacers, have produced many brilliant players who improved their stats, proved to be a sportsman with sportsmanship, and despite all these, they could not make a place in either of the categories – WHY?
Rashid Latif, the former cricketer also has trolled the ICC T20I team as the IPL team of the decade seeing only the majority of Indians, Australians, and Afghanistanis.
