Yesterday, Faulkner left the tournament pre-maturely due to a disagreement between Pakistan Cricket Board and the franchise which created much controversy. On further investigation, however, it was revealed that the cricketer had produced false claims and created all the drama to acquire double the amount of money. On top of this, he destroyed the hotel property and misbehaved with staff all the while being drunk.
Quetta Gladiators will play their last game of the round-robin stage today against Karachi Kings. With eight points, the men in purple are currently positioned at the number five spot. Their chances of staying in the competition are very grim at the moment.
