KAR vs MUL Live Score Dream11 Prediction Lineup & Fantasy Tips:

Karachi will host the first leg of the tournament beginning Thursday before the league moves to Lahore on February 10. Lahore will also host the playoffs and the final on February 27. Last year the PSL was postponed in March after six players tested positive for COVID-19 in a bio-secure bubble, and the league was switched to Abu Dhabi in June.

The PCB has hired the same company for the seventh edition of its marquee event which successfully created the bio-secure arrangements in Abu Dhabi last year. “The PCB, despite delivering 267 matches in 10 domestic events in 2021, is not taking anything for granted,” Raja said. “We have designed and put in place robust health and safety protocols for the well-being of all (PSL) participants.”

It will be a tussle between two of the biggest names of Pakistan cricket, Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan.

Under Rizwan’s leadership, Multan won the last season of the tournament and the team would hope to recreate the same effect this year. Babar would be captaining the side for the first time and he has replaced Imad Wasim. Karachi has won five out of the seven games against Multan and also won both league games last season.

  • Babar Azam was the leading run-scorer in PSL 2021. He made 554 runs in 11 matches at an average of 69.25 and a strike rate of 132.53. He is also the leading run-scorer in PSL with 2070 runs in 58 matches at an average of 43.12.
  • Mohammad Ilyas picked most wickets for the Kings franchise in the last season of the PSL. The right-arm medium-fast bowler took eight wickets in just five matches at an average of 21.62, an economy of 9.7, and a strike rate of 13.3.
  • Mohammad Rizwan created history last year when he became the first player to cross the 2000 runs mark in T20 cricket. A major part of his run-scoring happened in the PSL 2021 where he was the second-leading run-scorer. Rizwan made 500 runs in 12 matches at an average of 45.45 and a strike rate of 127.87.
  • Shahnawaz Dahani was the leading wicket-taker in the last season of the PSL. He was one of the reasons that the team could win the tournament. Dahani took 20 wickets in 11 matches at an average of 17, an economy of 8.42, and a strike rate of 12.1.
