PSL 6: Bad news for Lahore fans

Lahore Qalandars will not be getting an opportunity to enjoy live matches from their very own Gadaffi Stadium, Lahore. Notably, National Stadium Karachi and Gadaffi Stadium Lahore were chosen as the two venues for hosting the HBL PSL 6.

After the PSL was cut short coiling up the fourteenth match, the latest HBL PSL 6 news conveys the information that no matches will be held in Lahore.

The matches till 7th March were scheduled to take place at NSK whereas after that were set to move Lahore. The COVID dominant time will not be allowing PCB to rotate the venues.

PSL 6: Bad news for Lahore fans

As of now, the PCB has officially announced that the remaining matches will recommence by June at NSK. Lahore fans were desperately waiting for PSL 6 to come their home but the dreams shatter after the latest announcements.

It is speculated that the matches will be beginning this Summer but no tentative or exact date has been revealed yet. Also, there is no announcement if the crowd will be allowed later on or not.

As the HBL PSL 6 started, PCB at first announced to allow 20% of the crowd which was later extended to 50%. The watchers were joining their favorite teams on daily basis.


As QG vs MS was coiled up being match 14th of the league, it got announced a few hours later that PSL 6 is no more on the agenda.

The reason for postponing the full-fledged league was as many as seven COVID cases hit the players’ camp. The refunding process of tickets will begin soon or the PCB will be clearing if they can be used this June if the crowd will be allowed to enter.
