LQ reject Shahid Afridi's 'fever' statements on Shaheen Afridi

Sameen Rana, the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Lahore Qalandars, has dismissed the claims made by former Pakistani captain, Shahid Afridi, about Shaheen Afridi’s health. Rana has come forward to refute these rumors and reassure fans and supporters that Shaheen is in good health.

Rana stated that they have been closely monitoring Shaheen’s health and are satisfied with his current condition. He further added that if there were any health concerns regarding Shaheen, they would be the first to rest him.

“After every match, news starts spreading about Shaheen being unwell. Shaheen is completely fine, and if he isn’t, we will be the first to rest him,” he said.

What Shahid Afridi said about Shaheen Afridi’s health?

Earlier, Shahid Afridi had revealed that Shaheen Shah Afridi had played the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season eight Qualifier against Multan Sultans despite suffering from fever. Shahid had said that Shaheen had been suffering from fever for the past few days and had played the match despite this.

“Shaheen has been suffering from fever for the last couple of days, and he also played yesterday’s match with a fever,” said Shahid.

“If you have a fever, then I don’t think you should play, but he [Shaheen] wanted to win the match and then rest until the final,” he added.

Despite Shahid Afridi’s claims, Sameen Rana has reassured everyone that Shaheen is completely fine and in good health. Lahore Qalandars, led by Shaheen Shah Afridi, will face Multan Sultans in the final of the PSL season eight at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore today.
