Notably, as the newly launched franchise will enter the IPL mega auction with a purse of INR 60 Crore as Rahul costs 15 INR Crore, Stoinis owns 11 INR Crore, whereas, Bishnoi will get perks of 4 INR Crore.

As far as Ahmedabad, another new IPL franchise, is considered, it signed Rashid Khan, Hardik Pandya, and Shubman Gill. Rashid and Pandya have been assets for Sun Risers Hyderabad and Mumbai Indians for the last many seasons.

It must be noted that the Board of Control of Cricket in India (BCCI) is yet to finalize the venue for the cash-rich league. Although the preference has always been to organize the event inside India, but with worsening COVID situations in the realm, the board is preparing Plan B for hosting.

According to the new plans, the entire tournament may either be organized in Maharashtra or Mumbai. Also, dragging IPL 2022 entirely to the UAE again might be on the board. Notably, Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) is also keen to host the league.
