Mumbai Indians (MI) skipper Rohit Sharma celebrated his 36th birthday on April 30, and fans in Hyderabad paid tribute to him by unveiling a gigantic 60-foot cut-out. Known for his massive following, the Indian skipper has numerous records to his name and has scored a massive number of runs since his debut in 2007.

The humongous cut-out made by fans in Hyderabad showcased the sheer craze of the “Hitman” on his special occasion. Mumbai Indians shared pictures of the cut-out on social media, captioning it as “Phata poster nikla ????????. Tomorrow’s going to be special. #Hitman10 #OneFamily #MumbaiMeriJaan #MumbaiIndians #IPL2023 #TATAIPL.”

Rohit Sharma has played 234 matches in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and scored 6060 runs, including 41 fifties and one century. He has won the IPL title a record six times, five with MI as captain (2013, 2015, 2017, 2019, 2020) and once as a player with Deccan Chargers (now defunct) in 2009.

Recently, Rohit joined the elite list of players with 6000 runs in the tournament history, making him one of the players with the most runs in the IPL. On his birthday, Rohit Sharma will be seen in action as Mumbai Indians take on Rajasthan Royals at the iconic Wankhede Stadium.

This match marks the 1000th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL), making it a historic encounter. Mumbai Indians have only won three times in seven outings in the 16th edition of the IPL and will need to get back to winning ways to climb up the points table and secure a spot in the playoffs.
