Match 26: PSL’s last Pak v India of this season

The last clash of Karachi Kings and Lahore Qalandars, the Pakistan Super League’s (PSL) Pakistan v India will happen today. The contest between the two teams is always the most anticipated encounter of the league and always sees a full crowd.

Karachi Kings failed to earn a single point this season and made a new record of losing eight consecutive matches. The franchise did various experiments with the team combinations and nothing worked for them. The team also suffered many ousters including their start player Muhammad Amir and Muhammad Ilyas.

On the other hand, Lahore Qalandars have been cruising in the tournament, have bagged ten points and are comfortably seated at position two. Under Shaheen Afridi, the franchise has done phenomenally well and a win in today’s match will confirm them a spot in the play-offs.

When the two teams clashed in Karachi, it provided Fakhar Zaman with the right opportunity to lodge the first century of his PSL career and it also won the team win against the opposition. The Qalandars defeated Kings in their own home ground among their own home crowd to achieve this feat.

Karachi Kings will be looking forward to gaining some points before they make a final exit and Lahore will be eyeing to consolidate themselves in the tournament.
