Match officials for Pak vs Aus series 2022 announced

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the match officials for the Pak vs Aus series 2022 on Thursday, which is all set to kick-start from 4th March and will be played across three major venues of the cricket-loving country.

The two teams, Pakistan and Australia will undergo the three-match Test series, as many ODIs, and the only T20I. The match officials for the Australia tour of Pakistan include the on-field umpires, TV umpires, fourth umpires, and the match referees.

For the red-ball series, umpires Aleem Dar and Ahsan Raza will take charge of their duties on the field. Ranjan Madugalle of Sri Lanka will be the match referee for Pak vs Aus series.

Asif Yaqoob will be the TV umpire in the opening and closing Tests, whereas, Rashid Riaz will carry on the accountability for the second Test match.

As far as the limited over series is considered, the on-field responsibilities will be harboured on by Ahsan Raza, Aleem Dar, Asif Yaqoob and Rashid Riaz, while Muhammad Javed Malik will be the match referee.
