COVID restrictions or pitch? Michael Vaughan trolls Team India for not wanting to play a test at Brisbane, Gabba

Team India does not want to go back into strict quarantine, Ross Bates, a member of the Queensland legislative assembly, insulted their sense and said that they should get back to India as if they do not want to follow the rules.

The statement has looked offended to the BCCI and they might review their decision to play at Gabba. Notably, team India broke the protocols humiliating a bio-secure bubble as their selfie with the fans was breaking the internet.

The BCCI believes that India Cricket Team has been subjected to a poor portrayal. Consequently, they are planning to trim the tour and will take on their opponents in three matches eliminating the final Brisbane Test.

Brisbane’s pitch is a tough one. Hence many believe that no one wins at Gabba except Australia and the ground has given tough challenges to everyone. Australian officials believe that Rohit Sharma and co are scared to face Australia at Brisbane that is why they are giving lame excuses to change the venues or cut off the series short.

Michael Vaughan is one of those officials who say that India does not want to play at Gabba and COVID restrictions are just an excuse.

“If you look at it, we were quarantined for 14 days in Dubai before landing in Sydney and doing so for another 14 days. That means we were in a hard bubble for nearly a month before coming out. What we don’t want now is to quarantine again at the end of the tour,” a source said.
