MNR vs WEF Live Score Dream11 Prediction Lineup & Fantasy Tips:

Manchester Originals suffered their third consecutive defeat this season after a narrow loss against Trent Rockets in the last match. Philip Salt smashed unbeaten 70 runs off 46 balls and captain Jos Buttler scored 41 runs off 25 balls to put a 190-run target for the Rockets while batting first. But bowlers failed to defend this big target as Rockets won the match by eight wickets and with six balls remaining.

Welsh Fire also tasted their third defeat of this season with a loss against Birmingham Phoenix in the last match. David Payne and George Scrimshaw took two wickets each to restrict the Phoenix to just 130 runs while bowling first. But the Fire failed just four runs short while chasing the total with the opening batter Tom Banton scoring 44 and David Miller smashing 35 runs off just 30 balls.

  • Phil Salt:
  • The in-form wicketkeeper batter continued his good form with 70 runs off just 46 balls knock against the Rockets in the last match but it was not enough for Manchester Originals to secure a win. He scored 36 runs against London Spirit and is now leading the most-runs chart for his team with 107 runs.
  • David Miller:
  • The South African batter smashed 35 runs off 30 balls in the last match against the Phoenix and his form can be the x-factor for Welsh Fire in the remaining matches. Miller scored 54 runs in two T20I innings against England last month and has struggled for consistency since the completition of the Indian Premier League 2022 in May.
  • Dwaine Pretorius:
  • The star South African all-rounder missed the first two matches due to national team duties. He managed to score only four runs and failed to take any wicket while conceding 26 runs in the last match against the Phoenix. But he remains the clear pick due to the lack of quality all-rounder options for this fixture.
  • Matt Parkinson:
  • The in-form English leg-spinner has been doing well in the absence of Wanindu Hasaranga so far. He has taken a wicket in each match and has bowled economical spells as well.
  • George Scrimshaw:
  • The 24-year-old pacer has been impressive in the Vitality T20 Blast for the last few years and has been the best bowler for Welsh Fire so far. He took two wickets in the last match against the Phoenix while conceding just 22 runs and a wicket against the Invincibles while conceding 31 runs.
  • Jos Buttler:
  • The English batter will be an easy pick for wicketkeeper choice over in-form youngsters Phil Salt and Tom Banton. He scored 41 runs off just 25 balls in the last match after his 59-run knock in the opening match. He will be an excellent captaincy choice for the Dream11 team.
