Pakistan’s veteran limited-over cricketer, Mohammad Hafeez has been dismissed from the squad as the newly appointed chief selector of PCB, Mohammad Wasim has revealed the squad for the Pak vs SA T20I series.

Hafeez’s exclusion is a big question mark but the speculations hint towards his own willingness and commitments for the T10 league. Being part of the Maratha Arabians, Hafeez earlier informed PCB that he would not be available till 3rd February.

Wasim replied that as per the legal policies of the bio-secure bubble, the board will not wait for him and will expose the T20I squad on 1st February.

Although @MHafeez22 performed well in last year, but Chief Selector ignored him citing he isn’t available,
Wasim saying we picked the squad keeping an eye on World Cup.
Means Hafeez the performer isn’t in plan, strange very strange

Amad butt and asif ali are also playing t10 but they prefer pakistan over league so why cant hafeez just come on 3rd feb?
