Muhammad Nabi Expresses Pleasure Playing under Babar Azam

Muhammad Nabi has expressed that his desire to play under the leadership of Babar Azam has been fulfilled. The Afghanistan star all-rounder is playing for Karachi Kings which is being led by Azam for the first time in Pakistan Super League.

Speaking to ARY News, the Kings’ player said, “My desire to play under the leadership of Babar Azam has been fulfilled in Karachi Kings. I now wish to play under Virat Kohli,”

Talking about the performance of his team Nabi stated that their team is lacking a good fast bowler. The 2020 champions are currently lacking a solid fast-bowling line-up. With Chris Jordan not in the country and Muhammad Amir injured, the Karachi franchise is lacking with the ball.

“Karachi Kings are lacking the services of an experienced fast bowler. Our bowling unit is a little weak. The playing-XI will be strengthened with Mohammad Amir’s return. We are also waiting for Chris Jordan,” he said.

The 37-year-old has claimed only three wickets in three matches and hasn’t been performing well. He articulated that the team is trying to get rid of the performance issues. He said that the clash with rivals Lahore was lacking the presence of pacer Muhammad Amir and things would’ve been different had he been present in the team.

About the Qalandars encounter, he mentioned that the match gets tougher if Rashid Khan is playing in the opposite team. Rashid Khan is playing for Lahore Qalandars and the two Afghan players faced off in yesterday’s match.

He told the sources that former Pakistani players encourage him to train young Afghan cricketers. In the end, the Karachi all-rounder expressed adoration for the marquee event and says he loves to play PSL.
