Pakistan are into the Asia Cup 2022 finals after thrashing away Afghanistan in their second Super 4 game of the event. At first, they defeated India to polish their possibilities of being in the grand finale and demolished Mohammad Nabi’s men later to fix the slot to see Sri Lanka on September 11th.
It looked like Nabi and co would clutch the triumph with Pakistan’s last scalp remaining and 12 needed of seven. After the Nabi’s players showed a lack of sportsmanship towards Pakistani finisher Asif Ali, Naseem, taking care of that last wicket remaining, decided to revenge for the misconduct with two back-to-back sixes.
Naseem’s fiery celebrations, in the end, showed how much anger he held in himself against the Afghanistanis who raised heated arguments against Asif for no reason. He kept it in within himself and took retaliation through the win, letting Afghans cry once again after their poor on-field behaviour with Pakistanis.
Not only a bunch of players, but their waterboy threw his aggression on Asif. Here is how people are reacting.
Afghan players abusing Asif Ali…umpire interfered then….
A poor sportsmen spirit being shown by Afghanistan Bowler no doubt…#PAKvAFG #PakvsAfg #Asifali #INDvSL #NaseemShah #AsiaCup2022 #BabarAzam #RohitSharma𓃵 pic.twitter.com/Uvg3PjMSiF

Afghanistan should better learn the respect of the gentlemen's game! This is not the way to compete on the ground. Afghanistan has a history of crossing the red line and getting into physical gaga with Pakistan. No sympathies with Afghanistan Cricket! #AsiaCup

There is not so much joy of winning from India as much as winning from Afghanistan.. So much hatred is filled in their hearts for us, everyone has seen the sight of it today.

No one would like it the way Farooqi teased Asif Ali and karma paid him instantly. #PakvsAfg #PAKvAFG #Afghanistan #NaseemShah #asifali pic.twitter.com/GiJIkg2d1u

This is not the first time things like this happened between Pakistanis and Afghanistanis, as the Afghanistan fan got to the ground and also urged physical violence on a Pakistani fan outside the stadium. The incident took place after the men in green handed over them defeat in the World Cup 2019 match.
