New Zealand to tour Pakistan in September 2022

Presenting the happy news for the Pakistan Cricket Fans, New Zealand Cricket Team is likely to tour the cricket-loving nation in September 2022.

After the NZC opted out of their ongoing tour of Pakistan a few moments before the first game began, the relations between the two nations, boards were severely interrupted.

It also served as a massive setback to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) as their hard work to retain international cricket went in vain following the country’s image being shattered.

Not only the Black Caps but the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) abandoned sending their men, women teams for limited-over series cataloged before the T20 World Cup 2021.

It looks like a time to repay following Babar Azam’s chaps’ incredible showcases as they won five out of five Super 12 games, becoming the first side to qualify for the semifinals. Just like Ramiz Raja asked the team to give their 100% and the big cricket giants will spontaneously wish to visit Pakistan to play quality cricket.

However, after Pakistan have portrayed superior performances in the ongoing T20 World Cup 2021, multiple big teams are willing to tour the nation for a series.

A few days before, Cricket Australia (CA) also confirmed their tour of Pakistan, including Tom Harrison, ECB chief’s visit to the nation resulting in confirmed seven-match T20I, three Tests, and as many ODIs next year.

It means that three big teams of cricket, England, Australia, and New Zealand, are scheduled to visit the men in green’s realm in 2022 for long series.

As per media reports, NZ vs Pak will witness two red-ball games, including the three fifty-over matches. Wajaht Kazmi, a reliable journal source, took it to Twitter to unveil the news.

The two Tests will be a part of the ongoing ICC World Test Championship. The ODI rubber will form part of the World Cup Super League, a qualification pathway for the 2023 World Cup in India.
