The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) named Ramiz Raja as the 36th chairman of the center today. Taking over the post, Raja unveiled his initiatives ‘to be taken’ during his tenure and many of the motives have shocked the fraternity.
According to reliable sources, Raja has announced that there will be no changes in the Pakistan T20 World Cup squad despite all teams having a notable deadline to change the crew without any questions.
It was assumed that Ramiz ‘highly’ had his say while finalizing the squad as the green shirts’ cricket fraternity got fumed up after seeing a few players it did not anticipate.
The addition of Asif Ali, Khushdil Shah, and Azam Khan is still debatable but it is assumed that the unloved trio will undergo the home series versus New Zealand – if they perform or not, they will command till the big event. Devotees believe adding Shoaib Malik and Sarfaraz Ahmed could have been a better choice.
It was heard that not only the critics, former bodies, fans, but also the captain, Babar Azam was disappointed to see the squad. According to reliable news, Babar did not have his opinion while choosing and finalizing the T20 World Cup squad.
