NZC reveals schedule for tri-nation series

The New Zealand Cricket (NZC) has on-screened the schedule for the upcoming tri-nation series which is scheduled to be played before the ICC T20 World Cup 2022. The series includes Pakistan and Bangladesh and will get underway on 8th October at Hagley Oval, Christchurch.

Earlier, Cricket Australia (CA) presented the idea of hosting the tri-nation series including India and Pakistan to revise Indo-Pak Cricket. In response, Pakistan suggested adding England making it a four-nation series, however, the ECB and the BCCI turned the proposal down.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) later had shown its interest in taking part in a tri-nation series in New Zealand and the chairman Ramiz Raja confirmed the news in the recent developments. The men in green will first encounter the Black Caps on 9th October in the series.
