Pak vs SA: Younis Khan claims something about Mohammad Hafeez

Pakistan’s veteran limited-over cricketer, Mohammad Hafeez was dismissed from the squad as the newly appointed chief selector of PCB, Mohammad Wasim had revealed the squad for the Pak vs SA T20I series.

Hafeez’s exclusion was a big question mark but the speculations hint towards his own willingness and commitments for the T10 league. Being part of the Maratha Arabians, Hafeez earlier informed PCB that he would not be available till 3rd February.

Wasim replied that as per the legal policies of the bio-secure bubble, the board will not wait for him and will expose the T20I squad on 1st February.

However, Hafeez returned two days later but as the squad was already announced, he could not be part of it. He also posted a disappointing Tweet. His performances have been remarkable in the year 2020.

Staying as the top-scorer in the T20I format, Hafeez was trending in the cricketing World. The squad will miss his services.

Younis Khan, the batting coach of the Pakistan Cricket Team also has shown his desires as he continues to miss Hafeez’s place. The coach uttered that Mohammad Hafeez has performed well in the T20Is last year so his absence will be felt in the T20I series against SA.

Notably, the first T20I is about to begin as the Gadaffi Stadium, Lahore welcomes the guest and the host teams.
