Pakistan Women’s Cricket Team has overpowered the Ireland Women’s Cricket Team in a three-match ODI series at home. Tackling the guests at iconic Gadaffi Stadium in all three matches, Bismah Maroof and co made sure to thumb up, continuing the significant performances on a splendid level.

The recent performances of the women in green have truly been clinical, as they managed to do big things during the recently concluded Women’s Asia Cup, including defeating India. The fans had craved witnessing this side of the women’s cricket team that has been portrayed in recent times.

During the first ODI that took place on November 4th, Pakistani openers Sidra Ameen and Muneeba Ali came across excellent records with majestic centuries. Nashra Sandhu, too scalped twice but conceded 40 runs which makes her less effective than Dar and Sana. In the subsequent ODI, bowlers Fatima Sana and Ghulam Fatima shone with two and three wickets, respectively. Nashra, too, gathered three scalps but sustained 41 runs from 10 overs.

Sidra came across another majestic knock of 91 runs, followed by a much-needed 69 from skipper Maroof. In the final ODI, Ghulam starred with a five-wicket haul, whereas, Nashra, maintaining her kinda cut-rate economy, scalped twice, making her amalgamate six wickets from three games.

After openers failed to perform in the last ODI, Sadaf Shams took charge of her duties with a thrilling 72 followed by yet another skipper knock from Bismah, adding 57. The brilliant performances from almost each of them have let them whitewash the guests in the ODI series by 3-0. They are now scheduled to take over a three-match T20I series from the 12th of November.
