The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the sale of tickets for the upcoming three T20I matches between Pakistan and New Zealand. The matches are scheduled to be held at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on April 14, 15, and 17. The PCB has released details of the ticket prices, which range from Rs250 to Rs3,500, depending on the enclosure.
The VVIP enclosure (Wasim Akram) is the most expensive, priced at Rs3,500, while the VIP enclosures (Fazal Mahmood and Imran Khan) are priced at Rs2,000. The premium enclosures (Raja’s and Saeed Anwar) will cost Rs1,000, while the first-class enclosures (Abdul Qadir, AH Kardar, Javed Miandad, and Sarfaraz Nawaz) are priced at Rs500. The general enclosures (Hanif Mohammad, Imtiaz Ahmed, Inzamam-ul-Haq, Majid Khan, Nazar, Quaid, Saeed Ahmed, and Zaheer Abbas) are the most affordable, priced at Rs250.
The tickets will be sold in two phases. In the first phase, tickets will be available online at pcb.bookme.pk from April 2, and fans will be required to bring their original ID or B-Forms (for those under the age of 18) to gain entry to the stadium. The physical tickets will be available in the second phase, starting from April 6, and details of the sale points will be announced at a later date.
The schedule for the series between Pakistan and New Zealand has been revised due to the upcoming elections in Punjab. The teams will play three T20Is in Lahore from April 14-17, followed by two T20Is and the first ODI in Rawalpindi from April 20-26. The final four ODIs will be played in Karachi from April 30 to May 7.
The matches will count towards ICC Team Rankings, and the PCB has stated that the ODIs will help Pakistan prepare for the ACC Asia Cup and ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023, while the T20Is will assist the PCB in rebuilding the side for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024, which is scheduled to be held in the USA and West Indies in June/July 2024.
