Pakistan women cricket team still in South Africa whereas CA postpones their voyage to SA due to Coronavirus
Cricket Australia has denounced canceling the Australia Cricket Team tour to South Africa as the two teams were scheduled to face each other this March.
CA says that the poor health conditions in SA along with the new COVID variant found do not seem safe to them and aren’t in the health favor of the team.
On the other hand, Pakistan Women Cricket Team is in South Africa for a longer duration as Pak-W vs SA-W 1st ODI took place on 20th January. The sides are still remaining with the final T20I that is scheduled for 3rd February.
If CA is concerned for their players’ health, it is time for the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to call their team back. Before the health scenarios in the nation go worst, health protocols should adhere.
