
The leg-spinner Tuba Hasan, who is the latest addition to Pakistan Women’s cricket, has inspired the lookouts with her appealing performances since her international debut. As a consequence of her thrilling bowling, she has become the first Pakistani cricketer to win ICC Women’s player of the month for May 2022.

She has a great home series versus Sri Lanka. On her debut, Tuba’s spell of 4-1-8-3 became the best-ever bowled by a Pakistani women cricketer in the years-long history. She was honoured with the player of the match award and got highlighted diligently in the fraternity. Notably, Tuba Hasan finished Pak W vs SL W three-match T20I series at an average of 8.8 and an economy rate of 3.66 with five wickets.
Getting the prestigious award in the first month of her international cricket, Tuba is now the first Pakistani player to bag the ICC Player of the month award. Yet, the cricket world is not over her leg-spin speciality as some feel like she is bowling even better than Pakistan’s modern first-choice spinner, Shadab Khan.
It must be noted that was one of the nominees with compatriot Bismah Maroof and Jersey’s Trinity Smith.
