Mohammad Hafeez, the terrific Pakistan all-rounder, is the first Pakistani player with the most number of T20 fifties in the mid-overs. Analyzing the performances from 7th to 16th over, there is a lesser number of the fifties scored as compared to the fifties dragged from powerplays to any point.
Five – this is the most number of the fifties scored by any Pakistani in the T20s. Hafeez has featured himself in different T20 leagues across the globe. Despite having a pile of fifties, he could score only half tons in the mid-overs of the t20s.
His last fifty came up against the Multan Sultans. The player is often called to play in the mid-orders hence, has come up with the record of having most fifties in T20 in mid-order.
Hafeez’s form is continuing appealing this PSL as well. 33*, 73*, 60, and 15 are his last four scores of the ongoing season with many matches to spare.
This Pakistani has most fifties in T20 mid-order
Other than him, Shoaib Malik and Babar Azam are the two men in line. The batsmen have four fifties in mid-order hence, rank second respectively after Hafeez.
Malik is known to be an appalling batter and has often coiled-up the game for his team to win the matches. Whereas, Babar continues with his classy tricks.
Malik’s last fifty came up against Kandy Tuskers as he represented Jaffna Stallions in the Lanka Premier League. However, this half-ton was not scored in the mid-overs.
Along, Babar smashed his last fifty playing KK’s encounter against Multan Sultans. He slammed 90 off 60 balls and remained not out by the end. However, this fifty did not come in 7th-16th over either.
