PCB announces big news for PSL opening ceremony
The CEO of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Wasim Khan has announced a piece of good news for the PSL enthusiasts. As the fans prefer Ali Zafar over every singing artist, the PCB has hired Ali Zafar to perform in the opening ceremony of the sixth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL 2021).
We have seen a large pool of supporters criticizing the PSL 2021 anthem and prefer Ali Zafar over every singer. The guy has set too high standards in the last PSL seasons that everyone is failing to impress since the last few seasons.
Notably, the PSL opening ceremony is to be pre-recorded rather than live amidst the COVID-19 outbreak in the backyard. Istanbul, Turkey is all set to host the ceremony that will be later shown on Pakistani channels.

Notably, the popular singer Akcent has presented his wish to sing the next PSL anthem.
He was spotted asking a Facebook user under his comment section to make #akcentwewantpsl6song a trend so he can get the next versions of the melodies.
Akcent says not this time but to make this hashtag a trend so he can get the upcoming songs showing his keen interest in singing for Pakistan.
The opening match is scheduled between the current champions Karachi Kings and Quetta Gladiators as the two teams will lock horns on 20th February at National Stadium, Karachi.
Along with that, the ticketing policy for the PSL 2021 has been revealed. There will be only online selling of the tickets as PCB has contracted Bookme.pk for the scenario.
It is to mention that a single ticket per NIC is allowed and not more than one will be entertained. You can see the details here.
