The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has invited former cricketers to join coaching vacancies in the board in order to share their journey, experience with the domestic, upcoming Pakistani cricketers.
The cricketing body has opened openings for High-Performance systems and domestic circuits. In the recent time zone, domestic cricket in Pakistan has flourished seeing an increase in the number of teams – two each for a Cricket Association – at the U19 and U16 levels for the upcoming 2021-22 domestic season.
PCB asks former cricketers to apply for coaching roles
The opportunities have come up after the board started hiring former cricketers as the coaches for international, domestic, and City Cricket Association sides and Cricket Association.
Notably, the interested applicants must have Level 2 coaching qualifications or higher. Also, the former cricketer should have marked his appearance as first-class and International cricket. Among the players with these qualities, the one with significant experience will be preferred.
Moreover, the renowned cricket commentator is a few steps away from being the new PCB chairman as Ehsan Mani’s 3-year regime is about to end.
