The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is likely to announce a new vice-captain for Pakistan Cricket Team replacing the current candidate for the position, Shadab Khan.

As per reliable reports, Mohammad Rizwan, the wicketkeeping batter is most likely to replace Shadab. The decision may be announced in a short course and maybe implemented only for the T20 World Cup 2021.

Moreover, the PCB may also announce three-four changes in Pakistan T20 World Cup squad. It is speculated that both news may pop up on the same day, probably during first week of October.

Currently, Rizwan and Shadab are busy rendering their services as a captain to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Northern in the National T20 Cup 2021.

The big event is to kick-start from 17th October, the super 12 round will begin from 24th October. Pakistan will begin their world cup campaign on the same day against the arch-rivals, India.
