Here is why PCB has unauthorized Misbah to choose squad vs South Africa

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has unauthorized Misbah ul Haq to choose the Pakistan squad vs South Africa giving all the authorities to Babar Azam for the players’ selection.

The reason is the updated policies of the national cricket board that has limited the selection authorities for the head coach. However, Babar will be concerning the coaches in his final say.

As per the sources, a few of the members of the cricket committee PCB have demanded to sack underperform Misbah. However, the bowling coach Waqar Younis and Misbah have been given a last chance to show their performances or else they will be sacked.

Notably, the team’s performance under Waqar Younis and Misbah has been humiliated and the series against South Africa will be their final test to prove the worths.

Notably, the squad for the test series is to be revealed on 15th January whereas, the T20I crew will be finalized later.
