Wasim Akram, the former Pakistani cricketer has sarcastically lashed out at those who have spread fake rumors about him.
Notably, there have been severe comments on the PCB and the chief selector, Mohammad Wasim after he revealed the Pakistan squad for South Africa and Zimbabwe tours.
The critics are satisfied in no way. Other than that, the skipper Babar Azam remains unhappy with the selection without his concern.
Wasim, who had been serving Pakistan crucially, says that he is neither with the board and nor with the players. He added that people who spread such reports are idle.
I am neither with the players nor with the PCB, says Wasim Akram
“I don’t interlope in anybody’s undertakings. I’m neither in the national team nor with the Pakistan Cricket Board.”
“If I can still achieve to have an authority from outside, then well done to me,”
“I don’t have that much time. Personalities who broadcast such stories are slothful,”
There are several press conferences being organized ahead of the tours that are important for the team. Today, the vice-skipper Shadab Khan was also undertaken virtually.
Earlier, Babar presented his opinions on different scenarios and accepted his conflict with the selector Wasim.
He believes that such debates are healthy and the selector has explained why he has not chosen players named by Babar.
Along with that, he was also queried regarding Hamiza Mukhtar’s scandal upon which Babar added that he does not want to comment on it as the matter is active in the court. He believes the court will be sorting out with the relevant answers by his lawyers.
