PCB to Refund PSL 7 Tickets of Minors

tickets refund for minors

The Pakistan Cricket Board has decided not to allow children below the age of 12 in the stadium for the rest of the matches scheduled in Karachi. The decision has come one day after the start of Pakistan Super League PSL 7. Tickets bought for the minors will now be refunded.

The National Command and Operation Center NCOC had given permission for 100% crowds in the stadium for PSL matches earlier in December. However, in January, the decision was modified based on the severity of the fifth corona wave, and the number was reduced to 25%.

The Cricket Board had mandated strict Covid-19 Protocols for the fans entering the stadium for the games. All children above the age of 12 were to be vaccinated for gaining entrance. According to the new memo, individuals younger than 12 will not be allowed in the stadiums.

PCB will refund all the tickets that were brought for children. People can apply for refunding till 30th January at midnight PST. The PSL matches will go as scheduled despite the increasing virus cases in the city. Some players from the Zalmi and Quetta camps had returned positive results, but all of them are on the mend now.

In Today’s matches, Lahore Qalandars will face Multan Sultans while Karachi will encounter Quetta Gladiators.
